We are expanding our Talent Acquisition team and looking for an experienced Team Lead – IT Recruitment who will manage a team of 2–5 recruiters and take full ownership of strategic and operational success in hiring top-tier tech talent.

This role is for a leader who knows the IT talent market inside out, can grow and coach a team, and is ready to deliver fast and high-quality hires for key roles in Software Development, Infrastructure, QA, and other critical tech areas.

This role requires relocation to Cyprus and on-site work from the office.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of recruiters: allocate tasks, monitor quality and deadlines, and help the team grow professionally.
     
  • Personally close key technical roles (middle, senior, tech lead, engineering manager, C-level and more) – be a role model in recruitment expertise.
     
  • Build strong partnerships with team leads and heads of engineering: clarify profiles proactively and define tailored search strategies.
     
  • Design and execute sourcing strategies adapted to a competitive IT market (LinkedIn, Github, tech communities, TG channels, etc.).
     
  • Ensure a strong candidate pipeline from initial outreach to offer acceptance.
     
  • Track key hiring metrics (time-to-fill, source mix, offer acceptance rate) and provide regular reports to leadership.
     
  • Implement best practices, automation, and AI tools to boost recruitment speed and quality.
     
  • Maintain an excellent candidate experience and protect the employer brand in the IT market.
     

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in IT recruitment, including hiring developers, DevOps, QA, engineering managers and C-level roles.
     
  • Proven experience managing or mentoring recruiters is a big plus.
     
  • Expert sourcing skills and deep knowledge of the IT talent landscape and technologies.
     
  • Strong ability to build trust with hiring managers and influence talent strategy.
     
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
     
  • Experience tracking recruitment KPIs and using data for decision-making.
     
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English (written and spoken).
     
  • Practical experience using AI and automation to work smarter is highly valued.
