Spotware Systems is seeking an experienced and dynamic Financial Director to join our leadership team in Limassol, Cyprus. Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy and Planning: Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the company’s growth plans, including new product development and business areas.

• Financial Operations and Management: Overseeing all financial operations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, effective cost management, and alignment with company policies.

• Client Billing Process: Organizing and optimizing the client billing process to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

• Accounting Supervision: Supervising accounting activities, including payroll processing and tax payments.

• Audit Management: Working closely with auditors to ensure all financial activities comply with legal requirements and standards.

• Bank Relationships: Building and maintaining strong relationships with banks to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company.

• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Preparing and presenting detailed financial reports and analyzing Profit and Loss (P&L) statements to guide strategic decision-making.

• Risk Management: Identifying and managing financial risks, and implementing robust frameworks to ensure financial stability and compliance with regulations.

• Regulatory Compliance and Corporate Governance: Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, maintaining strong internal controls, and facilitating audits.
• Team Leadership: Leading the finance team consisting of billing and accounting departments, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Technology and Systems: Overseeing the utilization of financial systems and technology to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and data security.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Financial Director/CFO or in a senior finance leadership role within the B2B sector are a plus.
• ​​​​​​​You use AI not just occasionally, but as a core part of how you think, work, and deliver results. Being AI-augmented is part of what makes you a top performer.

• Understanding of the financial services, or trading industry is a must.

• Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, and relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, ACA, CFA) are preferred.

• Fluent English and Greek languages are a must.

• Strong knowledge of financial management principles, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.

• In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance and corporate governance.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
