We are looking for a Senior Mobile Developer (React Native) for a startup, backed by Spotware. 
The professional, who’s ready to share ownership of our mobile application — from architecture to production. This is your chance to build something from scratch that could scale to millions of users around the world.

What you’ll do:

• Take ownership of the frontend of our cross-platform mobile app both for iOS and Android using React Native (with parts made using Compose Multiplatform).
• Work in close collaboration with the Product Manager and Designer to bring the product vision to life.
• Translate UX/UI designs into smooth, responsive, and pixel-perfect mobile interfaces.
• Collaborate with the backend team to integrate APIs, WebSockets and real-time geolocation data.
• Ensure smooth cross-platform compatibility and native feel.
• Optimize app performance, animations and battery usage.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

Who we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in mobile development, with at least 2 years using React Native, with Kotlin Multiplatform experience being a plus.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, or Kotlin.
• Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, UX/UI principles and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, WebSockets, and real-time data handling.
• Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX, or equivalent).
• Capable of working independently, mentoring others, and taking initiative on product and technical decisions.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with product, design, and engineering teams.
• Bonus points for experience working on messenger / social media apps and integrating geo location services.
• Experience in managing frontend development teams is preferred.
• Upper intermediate level of English, knowledge of Russian will be an advantage.
